About Intuitive Birth Class

Intuitive Birth Class includes five sessions over six weeks, each lasting approximately 2.5 hours, a book, and patient folder with handouts for practicing self-guided relaxation exercises and more. These classes will prepare the mother physically, emotionally, structurally and spiritually for the most important event of her life-the birth of her baby.

She will learn techniques for releasing fears she may be harboring regarding the birth experience.

She will be instructed in positioning her body for proper structural alignment and balance to minimize discomfort and undue strain on her body.

She will learn breathing techniques for deep relaxation and visualization techniques for building a positive expectancy for a natural delivery.

She will learn how to allow her body to do what it intuitively knows how to do-birth her baby gently, easily and naturally.

She will learn how to provide herself with the best possible prenatal care, how to prepare a birth plan, the importance of doula support, and how to care for herself and her baby following the birth. Also included will be information on breastfeeding and the circumcision decision.

Her birth companion will learn to provide support and encouragement and help her stay focused.

Also included will be information on the importance of prenatal chiropractic care, cranio-sacral therapy, massage, acupuncture and other forms of bodywork for both mom and baby.

The class will combine lecture, creative hands on activities, exercises, videos, personal sharing, relaxation/visualization, and more in a relaxed and safe environment.

Class Details

Dates & Times:
Classes will be held on Sunday evenings from 6- 8:30 PM. Class start date is tentatively set for mid October, but may change depending upon enrollment.

Location:
Classes will be held at Ancient Healing in the Eagle Plaza at 809 Philips Blvd, Sauk City, WI 53583.

Cost:
The price is $275 per couple for the 6-week session, which includes the student book and other materials. For couples paying by cash or check, there is a discount of $10.00. Families are also eligible for discounts on prenatal/family chiropractic care and cranio-sacral therapy treatments. Please inquire for more details.

Registration:
